  • Problems with Huawei U8651T

I followed all the steps. Problem is my computer (windows7 64 bit, very old laptop (Dell V130, with latest bios) wouldn't recognize my phone after updating the driver. It says, updated successfully but once I restart it does not recognize it. Any help? Also, how would I do this on Windows 8?

Simply uninstalling phone and installing old drivers should help in your case.

Thanks, but after installing the drivers, the DC-unlocker does not recognize my phone. Could you explain your suggestion, little more?

It was completely my fault for not following instructions exactly. My mistake was installing the drivers when the phone was off but connected to the computer. So, I had to uninstall the drivers; then
        1) make the phone hang up by following instructions
        2) Connect the phone to the computer
        3) Install drivers (choose the proper one win7, or win 7 64 bit)
        4) then start dc-unlocker and follow instructions

I don't know how I missed this simple thing (installing the drivers when phone is off, instead of when it was hung up) I feel like an idiot.

Thanks for the free credit too. I had two of these phones.
