To fix it there is only one solution. You must put device in download/update mode - check manual or internet for how to do it. Then run original firmware updater (.exe) and update device with it, after it's complete device should be restored and working properly.

To put in "Force Download" the E5372 you need to press and hold the "menu" button while you turn on it.

It's not so easy to recover the E5372 in boot loop, ...indeed it is not at!!

From what I know, there are many users in these conditions, and all come from a failure attempt to load a different firmware version (Always indicated for E5372, but with different LTE bands, v.236/v.270)

According with Maintenance Manual, I've not find any help to solve this problem...

...If someone has done it, it is strongly encouraged to post the solution !!!Thx

Hi, I am new to this forum! I bricked E5372 (originally a Vodafone R215), it went in bootloop after flashing the wrong fw (European version instead of Germany open market, which was the right one for me). First, I tried the reset button, but no help. The problem was how to get in the "force download" mode correctly! After trying about 100 times, I finally made it out! Put out the battery, put it in again. Push menu button and then power button together. After the Huawei logo you can see the words "Force download" for just one second! Now you'll have to be really quick: release both buttons and push the menu button again while the words "Force downlaod" are still visible!! If it doesnt't work, remove the battery once more and try again! If it worked, you'll see a big arrow sign in your display and the words "Don't remove power" or similar.
After this was done, I connected the device with my pc and could start flashing experiments. I tried several things, because the Huwaei fw update tool didn't recognize my device any more (maybe because of the reset I had done before?). The vodafone update tool didn't work either! I used the flash tool by fr3nsis (you can google this), finally I installed the vodafone fw provided by fr3nsis, but the update was aborted halfway. But suddenly I was able to use the Vodafone update tool, restored the Vodafone R215 v. 3.1 fw, and now was able to flash the Huawei Germany open market fw and the corresponding Web interface and my device was rescued!!!

It was a lot of try and error, but it was worth it, saved me about 80,- €!!

If you have the same problem, I wish you good luck with this method!

Open dc-unlocker client, select your model on software, open unlocking tab, choose option to generate firmware code by imei, enter your imei and press do job button.
