E5220 ask for password at firmware upgrade

Hi there,

I have an E5220, now is unlocked but I want to make an upgrade for firmware, I found on Huawei site a new version, I try to run the software updater, and after start and discover my modem ask for a password. I try to put the password for login admin (stupid I think) but say is incorrect and have 2 attempt left. Know anybody what password is need?

You can generate firmware upgrade password on DC-unlocker software, select manufacturer, select model, open unlocking tab, mark option to generate firmware upgrade code, enter imei of device and click do job button.

OK, thank you, I just done this and now I have a brick modem. After upgrade, the software say all OK, but the modem is just stay with all LEDs on and no activity. My computer is detecting the modem. I restarted few times and no change.The Dc unlocker is detect the modem and say the same report like before, don't say nothing about the bad status. Any suggestions?

Sorry, but do not have solutions to repair/solve, maybe try to upgrade back to it's original firmware.

First time I tried with firmware updater from Huawei site and done the job wrong. I tried again but with a firmware downloaded from DC unlocker site and with their software. All is back to normal now, the modem is alive. Thanks for DC unlocker peoples for the good software.
