  • Huawei B593. Unable to use SIM unlock code

    Hello
I got the sim unlock code for this router using DC-Unlocker software. So far so good. However, I couldn't use this code in the router. When I press General, Sim settings, there is no option to paste the code to. I checked youtube and in the presentation video, the option was there, but not on my router. How can I write the code to unlock my router? Please check the screen shot.
    Please help!

Try to start router with incorrect sim cards (sim card from other provider). It may ask unlock code then.
If will not ask, the you should use direct unlock - detect router by dc-unlocker software and do unlock as in these instructions: https://www.dc-unlocker.com/huawei-b...d-unlock-guide

      Thank you for your reply.
I did exactly what the instructions said but there was no UNLOCK option...
      Please check attached screen shot

The stange thing is that it says UNLOCKED whereas the router indicates that the sim is locked.
Please check the other screen shot...
      Thanks again Screen Shot 03-21-15 at 11.02 PM.jpg Screen Shot 03-21-15 at 11.12 PM.jpg

What sim is there inserted when you detect modem? Original or other provider?

Then your router is not locked or already unlocked.

But it doesn't word. It says Sim Locked. If I use the original provider, the router is ok.

What Vincentas meant is that your router has branded/customized WEB UI only, router itself is not locked. All you have to do is to find generic WEB UI updater for your router, write it and then use with other operators.

Might be available in manufacturer page.
