Confused on which way to unlock modem

Hi,

Trying to unlock my usb modem.

It is Hyawei Model E303h-6

At first i was just going to use the DC unlocker program from this link (https://www.dc-unlocker.com/downloads/get/W7MFHxHq)

But then i found this link (https://www.dc-unlocker.com/huawei-e303h-unlock-guide) and am confused which one i should use.

Should i try to unlock my modem with the first like software or the second?

Could you write firmware version? You can see it after detecting modem. It may be that your modem version is not supported for unlock.

I haven't tried to unlock it with either yet, so i don't know it i can write the firmware version, I have yet to buy the credits.

But I did download both software packages and both detect the modem,

What sim card is there inserted when you detect modem? Original or other provider?

The new other provider is in it. Because the modem is from bolivia as is the sim and it has expired long ago.

Then it looks like your modem is not locked. Or already unlocked.

I am using the software mobile.partner, which detects the modem but not the.sim card.

What are my options here? I really want to get this thing working!

You get correct lock status on DC-unlocker only when unsupported/invalid operator's sim is inside it, therefore if it's locked to operator A you must insert operator's B sim card, if you see then "unlocked" lock status means modem is not locked, otherwise you are doing process not as described here.

Then means that you are not using with unbranded connection software. No other explanation is sim is active and working.

Ok. So I figured out the problem, as embarrassing as it is, I didn't have the sim in the modem correctly.

So now I do it comes up as locked.

Which is great. But now I am having trouble with buying credit, it won't accept my PayPal or any of my credit cards.

What can I do?

But when i tryed to unlock the modem. This happened. now I have no credit and modem is still locked.
