Great news! No problem, glad it was solved

You get correct lock status on DC-unlocker only when unsupported/invalid operator's sim is inside it, therefore if it's locked to operator A you must insert operator's B sim card, if you see then "unlocked" lock status means modem is not locked, otherwise you are doing process not as described here.

If you will activate Huawei HiSilicon firmware writer activation on dongle then won't need to pay everytime, will be free unlimited.
