Huawei E3276 Firmware writer issues.

    Huawei E3276 Firmware writer issues.

    I upgraded my E3276 to Huawei_E3276_Firmware_21.491.05.00.00_general version from the firmware download page. the modem works fine after the firmware update, but all subsequent firmware updates fail with the message: Failed to prepare write. Official updater also fails with "failed to set download mode" Error -16. Is there a way to fix this?

    EDIT -> from what i can see is that the dongle fails to enter download mode. i see Application and PC UI Interfaces in device manager.
