A few minutes ago I was trying to get my bootloader number for my y300. so I downloaded the client, hooked up my phone with the original cable to one of my USB ports on my laptop and when I started detection the client wouldn't find my y300. So I tried with another USB port, same thing. And then I guessed that it could be because the 2 USB ports I used were USB 3 so I hooked up to one USB 2 port and there was no problem, I got my code in about 5 seconds ! So just posting that if someone else have the same issue.
