EC5377u-872 Firmware/Web_UI

    EC5377u-872 Firmware/Web_UI

    I have the following Huawei device - which I already unlocked and I am using it successfully on all networks. It has a very hideous interface right now/GUI that is:

    Device name: EC5377u-872
    Hardware version: CL1EC5377UM
    Software version: 11.432.11.10.172
    Web UI version: 16.100.02.01.172

    (1) I want to update the firmware to latest that is available by Huawei, recommend a stable firmware which can be used on the above.
    (2) The Web UI, if I update the firmware, will the Web UI be updated to de-branded Huawei default or not? Since that is what I want.
    (3) I did find versions of firmware under EC5377 folder on DC-Unlocker but what I am confused about is whether or not it will work on my device which is "5377u-872".
    (4) I want to have a backup of the current firmware/Web UI in case warranty issue comes up. What can I do to save/backup the current firmware? I will be glad to send it to DC-Unlocker to upload in your repository.

    1. Which one is the latest?
    2. Probably no. WEBUI for these devices is updated separately
    3. Chances are low if it's not same version as yours
    4. Sorry, no service by DC-unlocker for backing up firmware.

      Actually, a member on a local forum of Pakistan mentioned that he got firmware from DC-Unlocker for the very same model of Huawei firmware and his screenshots showed that he was using a default Huawei interface instead of the hideous interface it already has. I will ask him which version he used from DC-Unlocker.

                      If you can not detect modem, check this:
                      Make sure all drivers are installed.
                      Make sure modems connection software is installed, but not running. (if there is one)
                      Use Autodetect on DC-unlocker “select model” line.
                      Make sure modem is not connected to internet.
                      Make sure no other same manufacturer device is connected to PC

                        As you can see from your own screenshot it's missing usb drivers. Can find them in our support area.

                          In device manager there are two ports, 13 and 22. but when I search in dc unlocker only application port detected. when i enter any command gets Just "ERROR" without code... You can see screenshot...... please help
