Huawei Vodafone R207 problem.

    Huawei Vodafone R207 problem.

    I bought the 7 credits to unlock my R207 . Although it seems that maybe vodafone came up with a new system.
    From the program I get with invalid sim.

    IMEI : 353604064382734
    Serial NR. : K7TDW15512000622
    Firmware : 3.0
    Hardware ver. : CH1E5330SM05
    Web UI version : 2.024.6906
    SIM Lock status : unlocked
    Wrong codes entered : 0 (unlock attempts left : 10)
    When I access the 192.168.1.1 I see my usual Vodafone page showing invalid sim.

    How can I unlock it? Will it overwrite the Vodafone software so I will be able to insert info of other mobile networks like APN etc.?
    Unfortunately this is my only internet connection so I have to perform the unlock in a wifi cafe.

    Can you advise?

    Your device is not locked at all if it's detected as "unlocked" with invalid operator sim inside it. You should either try to use it with other connection software or via windows dial-up function.

      The problem is that I can not bypass the vodafone page see screenshot. (valid sim , when not valid the green checkmark just becomes red X)Widows don't recognise it as a modem just as wifi router. Any help? Any firmware or software that could help?

        Well then you will have to look for wifi not customized connection software for huawei device then.
