It looks like phone is incorrect modem or incorrect drivers were applied to it. Make sure it has necessary ports visible in device manager, only then it may be detected.

Just tried again. Wiped the drivers and Hisuite first, so it could all reinstall. Also reset the phone to factory defaults. Re-entered 'manufacture mode'. Still can't correctly detect the second of my two Huawei Y300 phones.

It's identical to the phone I had just detected and unlocked. They're both identical Y300 Huaweis. So it cannot be a driver or port issue.

This seems to be a problem in the DC Unlocker client. The phone which I have successfully detected and unlocked was also incorrectly detected at one point. I was able to work around that by rebooting it and re-entering manufacture mode. Doing so did not help with detection of the second phone.
