I should have said DC detects Y330 OK .... but fails to read the lock code status.
This is in USB Debug mode ( no option for manufacturer mode)
Will the R216 be added in future? .... I am guessing it is acting like a E589 with a hidden com port.Comment

What error you get while trying to read code, this model supposed to have only direct unlock option, it also depends on version of y330. Do not have info regarding R216, might be added in future.Originally posted by Billythewizz View PostComment

The phone is Y330-U01 model ( its unlocked as I tested your MTK Client Beta software a few weeks ago and that worked ) ... but I thought I'd try the new DC software.
I wrongly thought the Vodafone R216 was just a rebadged E5573 .. but it would seem it is not as I think that model has a com port.
The R216 is Vodafone's fairly recent 4G offering , but it is web interface only, like the E589, but DC unlocker manages to auto switch on the com port ?Comment
