Mediapad X2 - GEM-703L - modem not found

Hi

Followed the tutorial to the letter - and after buying credits, can not unlock the bootloader.

Message in DC-Unlocker software:

DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.1220

Detecting modem :

selection :
manufacturer - Huawei modems
model - Auto detect (recommended)

Found USB interface {3F966BD9-FA04-4EC5-991C-D326973B5128}


modem not found !

Android Phone
-> Android Composite ADB Interface
-> Huawei HDB Interface

Modems
-> Android Adapter Modem #2

Ports
-> Android Adapter PCUI (COM10)
-> DBAdapter Reserved Interface (COM9)

Running Windows 10

Phone is in USB Port Settings -> Manufacture Mode.

Have tried restarting both phone and PC ( after installing the drivers downloaded from the tutorial ).

Please help !

I'm trying to get the bootloader code - from here https://www.dc-unlocker.com/how-to-r...er-unlock-code.

I followed the instructions in your link - but it's not detecting it. It's not a tablet, it's a phone.
