Model no. of my E960 not being detected

Hi,
I've got an E960 that I want to unlock. When scanning, I get the following:

model - Auto detect (recommended)

Model : _Unknown Huawei modem_
IMEI : 357172010702816

SIM Lock status : Locked (Card Lock)

However, the model no. shows as "Unknown Huawei modem" while the rest of the information is correct.

I know that the model no. is correct because it is printed on the device.

Since it has correctly detected the SIM Lock status as "Locked", can I go ahead and use the software to unlock it?

One more thing ... When choosing between the various option, do I choose:
a) Read Unlock code and auto enter to modem or
b) Read Firmware code or
c) Generate Unlock code by IMEI or
d) Generate Firmware code by IMEI

Need to detect it correctly. Try to detect it when connected by usb. Then it should be detected correctly.
Need to use Read Unlock code and auto enter to modem for unlock.
