I am trying to unlock Huawei B315s-22 Modem. I get the modem in USB mode (Green light on Constant) but when I connect to PC using usb cable computer says The last device you connected Malfunctioned. I have installed latest Mobile partner but windows cant find the drivers. Any help appreciated

Might be related to OS, if you have other computers around with different OS then should try on it.

If you can't figure this simple thing i can not advice you to go further with unlocking this router. It will demand way greater knowledge than understanding what cable with what connectors you need.

Thanks for that Valdemaras. I have used DC-unlocker on several modems with success, but they all had Micro-B ends on them. It was very easy to connect them to my laptop. The B315 router has a USB-A end and I haven't done that before. All I wanted to know is if I need to try to find a USB cross-over cable to make it work. That isn't something I have seen sold in Kenya.
