Need help with E398 Modem please.

Hi.

We wanted to unlock a E398 modem. We tried following the Unlock page of that Modem. It says to "change SIM card to other from another company"
So we do that first. Then it says Identify which we do as well. It shows what Modem and port its on.

Then we follow down the page and it says to Log into Server. We cannot Log into Server because we changed the SIM card. The Internet is turned off.
Then we click on the Unlock button but nothing happens. Its greyed out. We can press on the Generate Unlock Code by IMEI but we have no Internet
because the Modem has another SIM in it. So again no Internet.

When we changed the SIM the program says " write in unlock code " but without Internet we get no code.
We bought 4 credits for use and those are gone.

We dont really know what to do can someone help ?

You need to have other connection at unlock time, not device you are unlocking.
If modem with other sim ask for unlock code, you can generate it by dc-unlocker software. Then do not need other connection, can use same modem. Do not need to detect modem, just select modem model, open unlocking tab and select generate unlock code by imeu, enter imei and click do job.
