    StepByStep> UNLOCK, CHANGE DASHB., UPGRADE FIRMW., ACTIVATE VOICE on VODAFONE K3565

    This are the steps that I do for Huawei Vodafone K3565 modem-dongle:

    1) UNLOCK MODEM

    DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0413 beta

    Detecting card :

    selection :
    manufacturer - Huawei datacards
    model - Auto detect

    Found modem : E160X
    Model : Huawei E160/E160G/E160X
    IMEI : 355855024......
    Firmware : 11.604.20.01.00
    Dashboard version : 9.3.5.11690
    Serial NR. : DX7NAA1920......
    SIM Lock status : locked
    Voice feature : not supported in current firmware
    Wrong codes entered : 0 (unlock attempts left : 10)

    AFTER UNLOCK:
    DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0413 beta

    Detecting card :

    manufacturer - Huawei datacards
    model - Auto detect

    Found modem : E160X
    Model : Huawei E160/E160G/E160X

    4) ACTIVATE VOICE FUNCTION

    AFTER Activation:

    Activating voice for Huawei datacards Huawei E160/E160G/E160X ...

    Voice successfully activated !

    Please safe remove modem !

    5) RESUME Micro-SD Memory

    With AT Command:
    DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0413 beta

    Detecting card :

    selection :
    manufacturer - Huawei datacards
    model - Auto detect

    Found modem : E160X
    Model : Huawei E160/E160G/E160X
    IMEI : 355855024......
    Firmware : 11.608.08.81.00
    Dashboard version : UTPS11.300.05.15.143_MAC11.301.09.01.143

    SIM Lock status : unlocked
    Voice feature : enabled
    Wrong codes entered : 0 (unlock attempts left : 10)

    OK

    Now, if Dc-Unlocker or other software have problem to detect modem-dongle, goto device-manager (modem in last step, is always connected to usb) under USB controller device identifies and remove USB mass storage device. After click on "scan for hardware changes" to help windows to recognize again modem dongle.

        E160 no sound during calls

        How's it guys.
        I've upgraded my E160's firmware and also installed the new mobile partner which was posted somewhere in the earlier posts

        My modem is detected, cd, sd function detected and mobile partner shows me the call option..i can call out but i can not hear anything.
        What do i have to do next so i can talk and listen to the call?
        much appreciated for this awesome effort to get the voice function active.

                Ok im missing something.
                I have now got voice active, modem is sim unlocked.
                i have mobile partner with voice installed but now cant get the cd and sd function on the modem to work.
                what must i do to activate those?
                Im not all too computer savvy so in layman-ish terms would be a great help

                  Run dc-unlocker and detect modem. After detection copy-paste command AT^U2DIAG=276 to dc-unlocker window(below information it shows) and press Enter. Modem replies - Ok. Reinsert modem. Check.

                    Hi i also have a k3715...it has a vodacom mobile connect software on it..i wanna change it to mobile partner.
                    the dc-unlocker beta detects it and shows that voice is active..can anybody post the firmware and dashboard links for it?

                      Hello, ive got a k3520 activated for voice but when i try to make a call i get 'you have got insufficiant funds to make this call ' voice telling me to top up . what a liberty please can somebody help on this . thanks

                          Also Panatar i tried to change the dashboard but it says modem not connected to computer properly

                            Run your CURRENT Mobile Partner software and let it discover the modem. Then close it completely - after that run dashboard upgrade.
