E3531 after unlock E173?

I just managed to unlock my E3531i-2 of o2 Germany decent. After the unlock it presents itself (working) as a E173. Isn't the E173 much slower then the E3531i-2?

Screenshot is way too small to see anything. If you haven't flashed your device and it was detected as e3531 before unlock, i'm sure nothing has changed.

First it would not recognize the Stick, then after installing the latest Driver Package from the download area, it started recognizing it.
I thought that then I could flash it with the firmware available but it won't let me do this either..

If it's not flashable it means firmware is signed by manufacturer and can't be decustomized. We do not use devices therefore won't be able to confirm which one is faster/slower.
