    Huawei e5776s mobile wifi, now unlocked but 'invalid sim' message

    I have run the DC unlocking program and have the unlock code. The program now says the dongle is unlocked, but every sim I try gives an 'invalid sim' message.

    This is a UK dongle originally obtained via EE three years ago.

    Can anyone tell me what the likely cause is and how I can solve this?

    Hello,
    Have you just generated unlock code or did direct unlock from software? If you generated code, have you applied it on device?
