Ok, I understand. But where can I find the needed files?

look at the attached picture above. connect the boot pin to ground e.g. with a tweezer with no power or usb. then connect insert usb - no lights should go on

check device manager if there is just one huawei modem entry - use balong usb downloader with the usbloader for the e5180s

Finally, I unlocked it. But I hardresetted and I unpluged the power supply during the procedure. Now, only the lights are on, and the dc sw says

and of course you have to boot short first ... no led's should light on ... before using balong usb downloader

the E5180As-22 should be nearly the same as the E5180s-22 device except of the special provider firmware, so the usbsafe loader should work as well.

try the gui version of balong usb downloader and have a look if the modem drivers switch from 1 to 2 in device manager. then afterwards flashing should do ok.

you can ask Valdemaras to convert a E5180As-22 firmware.bin to the dgtks format and try flashing with the huawei firmware writer from dc.

where did you get a e5180 .exe firmware file ? never seen any of those. send me the file and i try it with an e5180s-22 device of mine

Roberto, my E5180As-22 is briked, with Balong USB Downloader i put usbsafee5180.bin, with Balong Flash master i try to flash E5180As-22 with E5180s-22TCPU-V200R001B200D99SP03C00.bin, but Balong Flash get me Error 7, reject to firmware block 6. I think, i need a usbsafeE5180As-22.bin not 5180. I tried put usbsafee5180.bin, and flash with E5180As-22-V200R001B270D25SP01C309.bin, Balon Flash does not want to reprogr, it show error different versions. With an E5180 firmware.exe give me answer: Inserted device in not an E5180... Any ideas ? Thx.
