P9 Lite - Sim Unluck - did I just waste €4?

So I bought the 4 credits required & followed the instruction, there was no option to 'Unlock' just 'read the unlock codes' (which the software did & it gave me the codes onscreen....what am I meant to do now?!!)

Here's the screenshot (top bit! I subsequently clicked read bootloader hence the message immediately underneath about insufficient credits)....

All I want to do is remove the Network Sim block from my P9 Lite.....how do I use the unblock codes that were read?

.....the very last section of that tutorial says "wait for the phone to be unlocked" ??? ....and then leaves the reader high & dry as to what happens next? (there was no unlock message appeared - nor the option to click Unlock anywhere?)

Start phone with not original - other provider than phone sim inserted. Phone should ask for unlock code. Enter code that you received.
