  • Huawei phone cant detect

Hello, and greetings from Sydney, Australia!

I have a Huawei Mate 9, (MHA-L09B), supplied under contract by my mobile provider, (Vodafone Australia).

As far as I know, this device is not locked to the Vodafone network, but I nevertheless assume that it is still probably carrier-branded.

I have only had the device for a few days, and I would like to gain root access to it, and, after some research, I found that a special code is needed in order to unlock the bootloader.

I have already purchased the required number of credits, downloaded and installed DC-Unlocker v1.00.1361, (as far as I know, the latest version), but I have been stymied by the problem that DC-Unlocker is unable to find the device.

I have followed all the instructions about driver installation, (which failed, by the way), HiSuite installation, (which didn't help, either), and I'm now at a loss as to what to do next.

Also, prior to attempting the driver installation, (using the driver files supplied on the DC-Unlocker website), I followed the instructions to enter the dialler command *#*#2846579#*#* to set the device to "USB Manufacture mode."

After the driver installation had failed, and DC-Unlocker was unable to find the device, I re-entered the same dialler command and set the USB connection mode to "USB HiSuite Mode" prior to installing HiSuite. HiSuite then installed correctly and found the device.

    I'm running DC-Unlocker v1.00.1361 on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1.

I'm posting this here, because the live chat support is offline at the moment.

I would really appreciate some help or advice.

If you need any more information, or if you have any questions, please feel free to reply to this post, or, if you prefer, you can send me a PM.

Many thanks in advance for your help in this matter.

    Best regards to all!

      Other Devices -> HDB Interface

Note that Device Manager shows the HDB Interaface as having a problem.

I suppose that this problem has been caused by my having uninstalled HiSuite, as the DC-Unlocker Client still could not detect the phone with HiSuite installed.

Please also note that I first tried installing the driver pack from your website, but the installation failed, giving an error message to the effect that the drivers I was trying to install were older than the drivers that were already installed, which surprised me, as the only Android drivers I had ever before installed were for my old phone, a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and that was a couple of years ago. I have never before attempted to install Huawei drivers, because this is the first Huawei phone I have ever owned.

When the driver installation failed, I tried installing HiSuite, but when DC-Unlocker still failed to find the phone, I uninstalled HiSuite as well.

One more thing: "About Phone -> Build Number" shows: MHA-L09C346B136, but your website shows that DC-Unlocker v1.0.1361 supports MHA-L09B, but not MHA-L09C. I'm not sure if this might be relevant.

Hoping for a solution ASAP, because I'm now totally at a loss and getting more and more confused!

Hisuite must be always installed. Phone won't be detected on dc-unlocker until its in manufacture mode and visible under modems/ports sections.

OIC... OK, so, should I put the phone into Manufacture mode, then re-install HiSuite, then?

OK, I tried again, because the phone keeps resetting itself to HiSuite Mode.
I changed it again to Manufacture Mode and this is the result:

                What should I do next?

We do not have bootloader unlock service, can only offer bootloader unlock code, how to get it see here - https://www.dc-unlocker.com/how-to-r...er-unlock-code

I did that a few days ago.
I have an account and I have bought sufficient credits.

This means that current version of android in your device has new security patch and is not supported yet.
