  • Huawei P9 Plus (VIE-L09) completely bricked

    Hi!
As you can read in the title I've been a while trying to update my phone and after going through different roms (1st NRD90M Test-Keys, after L09C900, and finally C432B181) I end bricking the device. It seems a Hard Brick, because the three buttons mode doesn't work, I can't entry in Recovery or Erecovery mode and also the few times that I managed to get the phone reset it fails also.
The only thing that works fine (at least it seems to) is fastboot mode.

So please, did your DC Phoenix software can help me unbricking the device?? Because last time I use it I expend 23€ but it doesn't work any of the tasks that I tried.
If it could would you explain me the way to do it? I've been watching the videos of https://www.dc-unlocker.com/DC-Phoen...epair-tutorial but in the video you refer to "Recovery Selection" and that button doesn't appear to be in neither the 3.2 or 2.9 version of the software.
In addition, could you tell me exactly the number of credits that I need to do it??

Hello, use method 1 from the guide: https://www.dc-unlocker.com/DC-Phoen...epair-tutorial
using DC phoenix needs 15 credits
Recovery selection does not exist anymore because new versions does it autmatically.
If method 1 does not work, use method 2.

Ok. I'll do like that. But, which ROM did I need to flash? Could I flash the last one with Nougat (L09C432B360) or I need to flash a MM previous one?

Another thing that happens and which bring me to this brick situation is that I flash to L09C432B181 and after that I try to update via 3 buttons to B360 but when the device restarts was asking me to enter a password for decrypt my device... ¿??¿?¿? You now why could happen this? If I use DC Phoenix did could happen again? If so, how did I need to proceed??

      Thx in advance

Ok. But I change the OEMINFO file to EU. So, do I need to flash a stock ROM from EU? Or I need to flash the one that came with the phone (LA)??

Preferably original that came with the phone, though if you have changed something in it on your own we won't be able to to guarantee your success.

Ok. I have done with the stock one and, in fastboot mode, the flash works fine. But when trying to flash via upgrade mode, when arrives to VERLIST.img, fails. I don't now how to proceed

Hi, I'm trying since this afternoon to open DC Phoenix but as soon as it starts and try to connect to server, fails and show the message "Cannot connect to server". But when I open HCU it connects. Where could be the problem??
                Thx in advance

If it still does not launch provide us your IP address. If you get error on VERLIST, it might be uncompatible firmware with current version that is in phone. Have you flashed that same update.app firmware in fastboot before flashing it in upgrade mode?
