Having just gotten one of these, and not finding too much help on the web, I thought I'd try and help a few of you out.
Firstly, the one I got was from Vodaphone UK and was a k3565 - Rev 2 model.
I managed to unlock it, free of charge using DC Unlocker alongside the code I got from here ********
Once unlocked, I found that it would work with any sim card.
As I was unsure how to flash the dashboard, or even why, I maintained my warranty by simply downloading the applicable version of mobile partner from here http://www.dc-files.com/
And that's it.
Although the modem came with vodaphone mobile connect installed, I simply close that down when it starts up and use mobile partner for all my connections. I have tried with 4 different networks (albeit all in the uk) and they all seem to work.
