Sorry if this is a duplicate/repost of another thread. But this gives another try by providing more information about the modem and the problem it faces as far as unlocking it.
Out of the box, the image below describes the current state of the modem. The firmware version is highlighted and also the "wrong codes entered". This is a virgin modem.
When inserting a SIM Card other than the network it is locked, the image below will show. This is the case regardless of the Connection Manager used.
I already have calculated the unlock and flash codes based on the IMEI of the modem. But it will not prompt to enter the unlock code.
Before I start experimenting/tinkering and bricking the modem, I would like feedbacks/suggestions/solution from the "gurus' out there.
