  • Huawei P10 Lite

    Hello,

I have a bricked P10 Lite, as in it can only boot into Fastboot/eRecovery/EmergencyDL, furthermore pretty much all fastboot command are denied, error: "FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)" and ADB isn't working due to vendor keys not matching, so it's well and truly bricked.
Seems FRP lock is the cause of all of this, and I can't seem to get rid of this lock and it's been driving me nuts (would be nice if Huawei mentioned how to get rid of this, but alas).
It's not the real FRP, I just got PHONE Lock and FRP Lock on my Fastboot screen, can't get any further than that. So it's not the Google FRP.
Since Huawei's support is pretty abyssmal and I would very much like to unbrick it, I came here (seems you're pretty much my only hope now ).

I have some questions though and I'm hoping you could guide me through the process required to bring it back to life.

Here's the information DC-Unlocker gave me about my phone:

    Found Phone : WAS-LX1A
Model : Huawei phone in fastboot mode
IMEI : 86404103xxxxxxx (I could give the whole IMEI if that's needed, although I'd rather not have that information on the internet, for obvious reasons).
    Serial NR. : H3XDU17317000899
    Firmware : WAS-LX1AC432B102

    IMEI1:000000000000000
    MEID:00000000000000
    FB LockState: LOCKED
    USER LockState: RELOCKED
    unlocked
    Battery state: 4344mv

I noticed there is no (WAS-LX1AC432B102) stock rom anywhere on the internet (big minus point for Huawei if you ask me).
However having looked through the firmware on this site that's listed for the P10 Lite, I saw 4 different roms and I was wondering which file(s) I'd need to flash, could you tell me which rom(s) I need?
I'm assuming Full-OTA roms (like the firmware hosted on HWMT's site) is not going to work is it?
If I read your posts/guides correctly I first have to flash the firmware hosted on this site (twice, once with DC-Phoenix and after that via the "dload" method in order to fix issues with storage), will I be able to flash the OTA rom afterwards though, like through HiSuite?

Also, I'm going to need to use DC-Phoenix for this don't I?
I just bought 15 credits on your site, I can use these credits on DC-Phoening can I not? And will these 15 credits be enough?
Do I need to have my simcard and/or sdcard present in the phone when the firmware is being flashed?

Sorry if I'm asking about seemingly obvious things, but I didn't think things through properly before which has led me to a bricked phone, so I'd like to be absolutely sure I'm doing everything right this time around.

    Thank you in advance.

Correct, OTA firmwares won't do any good. Remove sim card and sd card from phone during process. You need ot flash first full stock rom Warsaw-L01_C432B102 from site and then data customization file representing your device. We do not have info if you will be able to flash OTA roms via HiSuite, but if rom matches phone and is suitable for it then yes, otherwise you just risk to brick it again.
15 credits will be enough for flashing via DC-phoenix software. After first flash can use it unlimited times for 72h.

Thank you for your (very quick!) response!.

Regarding the data customization file, that's the part that's confusing me somewhat.
How can I find out which of these files I need? Considering the stock firmware of the phone is WAS-LX1AC432B102, I assume I need "Warsaw-L01A_C432B102_update_data_customization_hw_eu.APP" correct?

Last question: I don't need to unlock FRP in DC-Unlocker first do I? If I understand DC-Phoenix's abilities correctly it will bypass the FRP Lock alltogether.

File is correct. DC-phoenix flashes even if bootloader/frp is locked. There is no way to change FRP lock status in fastboot on bricked device so do not bother searching for it.

Thank you so very much for your excellent program and excellent support!!! You've saved my phone, you (guys) rock!!!

Just as an FYI, the installation in update mode got stuck on the first try. I had to disconnect/reconnect the phone, update drivers in Device Manager and select Advanced in DC-Phoenix, and then it restarted the process.

Man, besides a pack of condoms this could very well be the best 15 bucks I've ever spent in my life, I am forever grateful and will not hessitate to recommend you to others!

Edit: And I just updated the phone to the B131 firmware, all is well, I am one happy camper!

Do you guys know which firmware is dual sim? is it true that every single sim comes with the hardware support for 2 but it's disabled by carrier and software?

We won't know that, but if you need specific one you can request it here - https://forum.dc-unlocker.com/forum/...are-here/page9
Yes, most of the phones are software disabled and it can be changed for dual sim support.

Credits spent on FRP can only add back to account, for this please provide your username.

I really appreciate your services! Much much recommendations.

PS: I wished only that the software has more clearer view on how much credits ones have and a sort of confirming before spending I suggest a label under the username and some confirm boxes.

According to a thread I've found over at XDA, no.
Someone mailed Huawei about this and they responded saying to him that it's not possible because certain models miss the required hardware to enable dual sim capabilities.

Could be marketing speak, but for now (untill the opposite has been proven) I'm going to assume it's not possible.

Edit: And even if it was possible it would almost certainly require rebranding the phone, which, other than being potentialy dangerous (your carrier would probably not like it), I'm not sure is possible on the P10 Lite yet. They have scripts to do this for the P8/P9 models, which are (pretty) similar to the P10 Lite, but I'm not sure it's wise to try it on the P10 Lite yet.

Hi, I have flashed this firware follwed by "Warsaw-L01A_C432B102_update_data_customization_hw_eu.APP" for my P10 lite that originally had WAS-LX1AC432B102 stock firmware. (UK).

I can now boot back into the OS and most things seem to work, however whilst i can make calls and they stay connected I cannot hear anyone and they cannot hear me. Camera app crashes on opening and NFC keeps turning on and off every second and is killing the battery.

                          Any help Appreciated.

Warsaw-L01A_C432B102_update_data_customization_hw_eu.APP it's not a firmware, it's update data customization file only. Firmware file is in same folder as this file.
