I have a Honor 8 which has been bricked.

With DC-Unlocker I manage tu unbrick it successfull. The two IMEI, the model, the vendor and the country are good.

But 2 problems exist :

- I cannot unlock or read the bootloader : DC-Unlocker displays error 437

- the serial number of the device is now : 123456789ABCDEF

I tried to use HCU to repair. It says that the device must be repaired, but it can't do it. It says : error check S/N

Please, what can I do ?

You must obtain the serial number on the box of your device.
You open HCU and connect your device after you made it in manufacture mode (*#*#2846579#*#*).
You click on Repair UTMS, insert your number in the appropriate case SN, you click on Repair and let HCU work...
For me that has been good.
