  • No service on inserting sim in Huawei Mate 7

I bought a Huawei mate 7 MT7 TL10 model with chinese channel on it (cmcc). On inserting Sim, it detects the sim but shows no service and a cross on signal bars ? I dont think that it is sim locked because it does not asks for code on inserting sim ?
    Anybody can help please ?
Can it be repaired by dc unlocker ?

Maybe it does not support frequencies (bands) that are used in your country.

My friend is having same model, MT7 TL10 in which same sim works.
Only differnce is he is having international version with eu channel. And mine is with cmcc channel.
So it might be software issue only?
Is mine is network locked for china only?
      How to check it ?
      Please help.

Same model may support other frequencies. For example it may work in 3g only in your country as other frequency is used. Or not work at all.
Other frequencies (bands) is not software problem.
If device does not ask for unlock code with other sim, then it is not network locked.

But atleast 2g should have work. 2g only is also not working.
one more thing I noticed phone is having same imei no. for both sim cards .This might be the cause of no network because as far as I know in my country, India, every dual sim must two different imei

Correct, if phone has 2 imei numbers they should be definitely different, maybe you or someone else tried to repair it in past or flash it/decustomize it, in which case you may need to repair second imei to valid one in hopes for your other slot to work.

You can repair IMEI by using HCU, check their IMEI repair tutorial for the process.
