I made the unfortunate mistake of running MWConn and it totally f'd up my Huawei E1553 modem. I finally got it to work again but SMS has been disabled somehow. I cannot send or receive sms messages through the modem and I could before I ran the MWConn software. I also can no longer run the command to check my balance which worked before also. Is there an AT command to reenable SMS or a way to have the modem completely reset itself to factory defaults? I really want the ability to send and receive SMS fixed and to also be able to send the commands to check my balance, etc. If anyone can tell me how to fix this I would appreciate your help very much.
