  • sim locked after unbrick with dc phoenix

    hi,

I was running a custom ROM for a while on my Huawei mate 8 and decided to revert back to stock. I messed it up and I bricked it. so kept trying several methods and finally managed to make it work via dc-phoenix. I tried the first method and it didn't work out, so tried method 2 using NXT-AL10 factory firmware. Then I flashed a stock ROM, I wasn't sure which band was on my phone originally, so since I'm in the middle east I tried several nxt-l29c185 versions until one worked out (b200).

However i found that I have two problems now:
first I get "sim network unlock nck" message when starting the phone which wasn't on the phone when I bought it, it came originally unlocked
second when I check the version of the bootloader through the manufacturer menu it says "nxt-c900b120-fastboot". I don't know what this means.i tried to debrand through SRKTools but nothing changed.

I tried to unlock through dc-unlocker and this is the what I got when running detect

    Found Phone : NXT-L29
Model : Huawei HiSilicon Kirin Android phone
    IMEI : 2
    Serial NR. :
    Firmware : NXT-C900B200
    Wi-Fi MAC : 98:E7:F5:58:73:19
    BlueTooth MAC : 98:E7:F5:58:7A:22

it doesn't give me the SIM Lock Status.

I need help here to revert back to the unlocked middle east stock ROM

    thank you

Just press unlock if you want to unlock it from network. Ort read unlock codes and apply on phone manually if it requests for code on phone screen.

Log into server, then detect, then do unlock, make sure you have 4 credits in account.

is this something to do with erasing modem partition when using method 2 of dc phoenix?

If IMEI and other data is correct, then it might be fault of modemnv partitions.

Great, so I found NXT_L29 partitions in your website; which I believe the one I should use. Is there a guide on how to do it?

Then can try reflashing stock rom, we won't know such things.
