  • Huawei P8 Lite 2017 flash fails

Hello everyone, i'm opening a thread here because it's a more appropriate section.

I bought 15 credits to flash a firmware into my P8 Lite 2017, since it had FRP Lock and corrupt firmware (C02B148). I used Firmware Finder to get the firmware i needed, i tried first with the one it was already flashed on the phone, 148, and the flash failed, but soon i realized it failed with every firmware i tried, no matter how old or new, i tried pretty much every version from 140 (the oldest available) to 150, and there's no way to get it working, but apparently the 150 is the one that "works better" because it actually let's me boot and i see the Vodafone logo, but after that it stops and restarts after a while.

I was told i could use the second method but the instructions aren't very clear, it asks to download something that basically doesn't exist, because checking the library by clicking on "download files", if i write PRA-LX1 (it's my phone), there's just a dgkts file that doesn't nothing (already tried to flash), plus, dc-phoenix crashes while i reach "Recovery 2" partition, most of the time, for a flash to go smooth i have to try at least 2 times, in the first attempt dc-phoenix crashed 99% of the times. And when it doesn't crash it fails the flashing in Upgrade mode which stops at 5 of 22 files downloaded, the 5th fails to download for some reason, and i tried on different computers with different connections.

I really don't know what to do, if you come up with something please help me.

This is the other thread i created because i had problems with my credit.

First of all make a research of your phone and what it is before flashing or doing things you have 0 information about... your phone goes under name of Prague, there are plenty firmwares for it. DC-phoenix may crash if you are using computer or clicking on it while flash is in progress... And why you get error on 5 out of 22 files already explained in previous thread.

I managed! the actual firmware name is PRA-L11 not PRA-LX1, damn huawei, behind the phone there's PRA-LX1 so well...Thanks for your help, but guys i suggest you to work on stability of DC phoenix, it was not responding even when i wasn't touching the Pc, other than that, it works. Thanks again!

Another thing, i flashed the nonspecific italian firmware the L11-C55B120, but i can't find the automatic update, i might just go and flash the newest one with phoenix right?

Also the IMEI has disappeared, i don't know what's going on.

Have you flashed update data after flashing firmware file? IMEI can repair on HCU explained in dc-phoenix guide.
Yes, we working at the moment on it's stability. There is new, upgraded version already uploaded for download.

What do you mean by "flashed update data"? dc phoenix flashed in fastboot&rescue mod, and then it also reflashed the firmware in upgrade mode, you mean something else?
So i need to buy HCU too? Isn't there something i can do for free? Or with your program?

Yes, means you had to flash firmware and update data like our guides shows. If you do not have HCU timed license account that allows to use DC-phoenix and HCU then yes, need ot buy separate 8 credits to repair phone numbers, no other method from us at least.

Well i might leave it as it is, it's working fine so there's not really any need to do that, as long as the phone is working correctly...
