  • FRP & BOOTLOADER help for honor 5c

My phone is fully working. Developer options is enabled and usb debugging as well. The problem is that OEM unlock is off and greyed out. My bootloader is unlocked and in fastboot it shows phone unlocked and FRP lock. Probably because I did a factory reset and relocked bootloader after having flashed stock recovery thus removing twrp and making my life miserable.
I need to change that so I can enable OEM unlock again and have full use of fastboot commands to flash custom recovery and Img's etc...
Now from what I have read your FRP option in dc-unlocker won't work. I need to Lock the bootloader (not relock) and thus will re-enable OEM option in settings and then unlock the bootloader????
Please please tell me that is correct or if not what method I must use. How many credits should i purchase?? Thanks.

This is just a possibility, no guarantee that it becomes active after locking bootloader back. bootloader lock service costs 4 credits. Note that we can help only from Relocked to Locked, we can;t help with relocking bootloader.

That sounds fine. Back when this happened, I issued command fastboot oem relock "bootloader code" and when i issue command to -get-bootinfo it says relocked. So getting the 4 credits will work to change the status of my bootloader from relocked to locked. why then would the OEM UNLOCK option not become available again in developper settings. If it did i could enable oem unlock, unlock the bootloader with my code and be able to flash imgs, recoveries, custom roms, kernels etc etc.....
If this is not the case or you cant guarantee it, maybe it would be better to flash a MM Emui 4.1 rom(i'm told its easier to work with oem and frp) in fastboot as your literature says you can force flash even with frp lock. Would you refund me if the relock/lock method didnt help to help towards another option?
Maybe i am looking at this in the complete wrong way! Please could you suggest what i must do?? thank you.

OEM enable/disable option becomes active when status of bootloader is locked not unlocked or relocked according to our experience. We can refund only if phone does not have lock status after locking it... we can't take responsibility for other phone's options that may depend on it.

Alrighty, i setup a user account and bought 4 credits. Now my bootloader that is relocked, I can change it to locked. Fingers crossed the OEM enable option will become accessible and not greyed out.:-)
One other question though Valdemaras, If this fails can i just flash a firmware via fastboot to reset frp to unlock and would it work if it was B130 build (MM/Android 6/EMUI 4.1) because i am currently on B357(NOUGAT/Android 7.0/EMUI 5.1) because that would be downgrading or would i have to use a nougat rom???
Unfortunately i cant do it myself and use Dload option (3 button method) because i dont have stock recovery available. I can only get to eRecovery where there is only option to reboot/shutdown or download emergency firmware but that always results in a fail.
Thanks so much for your help this far Valdemaras. I need to go to sleep now its 1.30am in the UK and then i will wake up refreshed tomorrow and give it a go!

We won't know if it would work after flashing specific firmware or just in general if flash would change anything in such case, we do nto work on such matters, sorry.
