Unbricking P10 plus

Hi I'd like to ask first before buying the DC-Pheonix tool.
So my P10 plus is bricked since sunday and it won't charge(just showing up with red thunderbolt), but if I wait for a little while it will boot but it will only show with an error:

ERROR MODE
Attention!
Please update system again

Error!
Func NO: 11 (recovery image)
Error NO: 2 (load failed!)

Also I am on oreo and I'd like to know if the tool works on EMUI8 now, and the only thing I can do with my phone is to boot on fastboot mode.

I am having the same issue . Bootloader is open and frp is unlocked also . The previous owner bricked it by trying 2 downgrade it. Now I am stuck will this software fix the phone . I far as I no it's on. Vky l09 . And on Oreo . Nothing more and I don't no the IMEI as I can't access the phone . So I need some help what do I do

Do I need DC unlocker for this or can I do it with out it. And where do I get the right 1 as I don't no what firmware I am running just no it's vky l09
