  • P9 Plus fastboot mode has disappeared

    Hi

my phone was in error mode after software update. With DC Phoenix I wanted to flash the firmware.

but there is a problem: I can not fastboot the phone. can not see the PC and can not see the program either. (i know, volume -, while pc is plugged with usb)

do you have any idea how to reactivate fastboot mode?

    thanks

note: the phone is constantly in error mode. it can not be turned off because it is always restarted. VIE-L29 C636

Could you add picture of "error mode" not quite understand qurrent state of the phone. If it's constantly restarting you should try to just keep holding vol-, it should enter fastboot that way.

Is your phone detected by usb cable ? if yes then try to flash with the same firmware which was installed before doing update. Read the DC Phoenix Flashing Tutorial if simple flashing fails. By following the Tutorial you can revive your phone.

Then can only try method 3 from DC-phoenix guide.

                    Thank you everyone!
would have two questions about method 3.
                    - how do I download a factory rom for c636 VIEL29 (p9 plus dual sim)?
                    - the phone does not respond to any button combination. -> ref from method 3: 6. step: Connect phone to PC while in upgrade mode (mode entered by holding both volume buttons and power button usually)

I think the phone is flashing bricks. (if I restarted, then 1 red three green flash, repeats 3-4 times)

Forget about flashing bricks, it is a term I can't translate clearly . If I restart the phone, the LED flashes once red, three times green periodically (three or four times, tops)

You can use the method 3 to detect the phone in Pc with test points and afterwards flash it Board firmware and update.app firmware.

Your phone doesn't connect to pc even using testpoints as described in dc-phoenix guide mentioned method? Then you are out of luck and your phone has hardware problems.
