  • Bricked P10 due to rebrand(?) Revert?

    Hi everyone,

I have a P10 VTR-L09 that's bricked. Phone Locked (Green) FRP Unlock (Red).
It can reach ERecovery, it does go in fastboot.

Now I have downloaded DC-Unlocker 2 client, I have scanned the device and what it returns to me
    is:

    Found Phone : VTR-L29
Model : Huawei phone in fastboot mode
    Firmware : fRomFuture - Genesis B164

Now I can notice few things from here:

    1) The model in the DC-Unlocker output says L29, this makes me think that the previous owner tried a
    rebrand of the device.

    2) Firmware fRomFuture - Genesis B164

-- I also used this website https://consumer.huawei.com/bd/support/warranty-query/ the results where:

    DC-Unlocker IMEI :
    • Model: MHA-L29B
    DC-Unlocker Serial #:
    • Model: Victoria-L09B

What's the best procedure to revert it back to its original state?

Hello, you may attempt to repair your phone by following method 2 from DC-phoenix guide https://www.dc-unlocker.com/DC-Phoen...epair-tutorial
    >>Free Octohide VPN for Android, find it on Google Play Here<<

Is your phone in fastboot mode? Have you installed HiSuite which includes the fastboot drivers?

Yea it was a Windows 10 issue. I have gone back to windows 7, I’ve used hcu to update the imei, country and vendor, then used dc-Phoenix to flash what was supposed to be a stock rom firmware.app, but the phone comes up with wrong model number, name and specs, it’s seen as an onyx D188... ideas?

Was the phone info correct before you flashed the firmware?
