  • FRP's bootloader locked on oreo STF-L09C432

    Hello,

I have an HCU timed license and I need some advice with an honor 9 STF-L09C432 which was on oreo, and is now bootlooping :

-Phone do not boot to normal mode.
-FRP's bootloader is currenty locked !
    -Phone's bootloader is currently unlocked.
-recovery mode does not work as it gets stuck at a TWRP booting screen (I suspect this oreo phone had a custom nougat twrp flashed over its oreo recovery)

    What should I do ?
I think I need to use DC Phoenix to flash a firmware ; But :
    Should I flash a nougat L09C432 Update.app you provide ?
    or
    Extract myself an oreo's L09C432B36x Update.app with huaweiUpdateExtractor ?

Hello, you would need to flash full stock rom that was in device prior to bricking it or when it was purchased, then you have highest chances to revive it. These phones like yours are then to go bloackscreen if incorrect firmware file was attempted to flash into it, just letting you know. In such case possible revival via testpoints if you know where they are on mainboard, method 3 of DC-phoenix explains how to repair using this method (This is last resort if Method 1 and 2 won't work).

Previously, the phone was on STF-L09C432B364.
      So i'll use method 1 with an UPDATE.APP file I extracted from a FullOTA-MF STF-L09C432B364's update.zip.
Thanks for your answer, i'll report back when done.
