  • BLA_GLOBAL_C999 on a BLA-L29

    Hello everybody.

I have a BLA-L29 C636 and I'm trying to flash BLA-L29C_8.0.0.115(C636) in DC Phoenix, but Phoenix still says after extracting the update.app:

    Build number: :BLA-L29 8.0.0.131(C636)
    Product model: BLA-L29
    Device not supported

    At the beginning it says:

Looking for a device in fastboot mode
    Device found: MYSERIALNUMBER
Starting extracting partitions from file UPDATE.APP
    Current version: BLA_Global_C999

I think the problem is that undefined version of BLA_Global_C999, so that Phoenix thinks I'm not on a BLA-L29 C636. Any ideas?

Edit: I came from Lineage OS to Stock Rom by HWOTA8_Mate10. After flashing was succesful I had a blackout and installed Magisk before changing OEM-Unlock in the developer-settings. -.- So my Mate 10 Pro stucked in a bootloop to eRecovery. Bootloader is locked (code is here) and FRP is also locked. So my only way is in my opinion DC Phoenix. But Phoenix still says "device not supported".

I fixed it on my own, but I really don't know what it was. Maybe someone has the same problem in the future, so I want to show my way of solving it.

I used DC Phoenix v56 (latest v57 didn't fixed it that way) in Advanced Mode and the function for flashing the update.app out of update_all_hw.zip. First I put my Mate 10 Pro in Upgrade Mode by holding VolUp + VolDown + Powerbutton. After Emui-Update-Screen was shown, I connect my Mate to the PC and pressed the Update-Button in DC Phoenix. Phoenix searched for phones in Upgrade-Mode, finally found it and flashed the correct update.app. After rebooting and a factory reset my Mate booted into the system and all was fine. Also since that, Phoenix recognize my Mate as a BLA-L29 C636 and not as a BLA_GLOBAL_C999.
