Unable to connect DC unlocker to Huawei e5885Ls-93a MiFi

    Unable to connect DC unlocker to Huawei e5885Ls-93a MiFi

    I want to remove "datalock" from my Huawei E5885Ls-93a modem, as I want to flash English firmware replacing the current Chinee firmware.

    Each time run DC Unlocker, I get the following error.

    Detecting modem :

    selection :
    manufacturer - Huawei modems
    model - Auto detect (recommended)

    Enabling Huawei modem driver... OK
    Waiting for Huawei modem...

    modem not found !

    However, drivers are correctly installed (see screenshot) and I can access the WEBUI (http://192.168.8.1/) by connecting modem over USB. However, only one COM port device is visible in 'device manager', and there is no other unrecognized devices.


    Can you help to troubleshoot this?

    Please write firmware version. Your modem version may be not supported for unlock.

      Here is the firmware information
      Software version number: 21.187.61.00.233
      Web UI version: 21.100.41.00.233
      Also, the hardware version is
      Hardware version number: CL1E5885SM

        Can not find any this version devices unlocked. Looks like version not supported and will not be possible to unlock this device.
