Bootloader Code Support for Huawei M5 10.8 wifi model CMR-W09.

Hi

Can you please confirm if DC-Unlocker now supports Huawei M5 10.8 wifi only Tablet model CMR-W09 for the purpose of reading the Bootloader Unlock Code ??

Your list of supported models does not mention the M5 tablets are supported but the webpage for the DC-unlocker client software V1.00.1403 suggests it may be supported now with this latest version???

Can you please clarify if it is supported now ??

Also please give me any tips or advice that you might consider helpful. .. as I am new to this software and procedures. I have already installed Hisuite and I have successfully auto-identified the device using DC-Unlocker v1.00.1403. It identified the Tablet correctly by its Serial No. and Firmware version..... I guess thats a positive start ??

For some reason my last post didn't appear.

Once again, I want to report that I have successfully retrieved the Bootloader Code for my Huawei M5 10.8 wifi Tablet model CMR-W09.

I first installed the latest version of Hisuite and then used DC-Unlocker ver 1.00.1403. and followed the Tutorial titled :- "How to read Huawei Android phone bootloader code" ... found on this website.

IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENT

I was able to retrieve a Bootloader Unlock code from the Huawei Website yesterday before it was shut down and unfortunately the Unlock Code I got from the Huawei Website is completely different from the Unlock Code which I retrieved from DC-Unlocker.

The code retrieved from DC Unlocker is all Digits while the code from the Huawei Website is Digits and Characters.

This causes me a little concern.. I haven't tried either Unlock Code yet so I can't tell for sure which, if any, are correct.

On the XDA Developer website I have noticed some people have reported unlocking bootloaders with codes extracted with DC Unlocker and others claim the codes didn't work for them...

In my case I won't know for sure until I try and unlock the Bootloader on my M5. At present I am taking my time to collect and verify the needed components to root the device...

I have just used your comments and retrieved the bootloader code and used it to relock my bootloader on my MediaPad M5 CMR-W09. Thanks for the comments and good luck
