i was able to read the bootloader code with dc-unlocker !

not sure how it worked and what happened, but it worked, after i let the mediapad M5 (CMR-AL09) update itself (first and only automatic update after delivery by amazon)
maybe this could help other people, so ill try to write down the routine i used to get the code:

bought the mediapad m5 a week ago, dc-unlocker says: Firmware System 8.0.0.046(0CG3)
    mediapad m5 says (after update) Build-Nr.: CMR-AL09 8.0.0.161(C432) , EMUI 8.0.0
i followed instructions u can find on xda and other sites regarding bootloader unlock manual with dc-unlocker.

register with dc-unlocker and get 4 credits (pay with paypal)
make sure, the tablet is recognized fully by the system (win10 pro in my case)
that means, under system control - device manager you have
    "Android Phone" with 2 entrys

    - Android Composit ADB Interface
    - Huawei HDB Interface

AND (thats important, otherwise, tablet wont be recognized in dc-unlocker) also under device manager, have:
"Connections (COM & LPT)" with 3 entrys

    - Android Adapter PCUI (COM5)
    - DBAdapter Reserved Interface (COM4)
    - HUAWEI Mobile Connect - Fake Acm Interface (COM3)

have these 5 entrys showing up, otherwise tablet wont be recognized properly in dc-unlocker. let tablet stay screen-on/avoid standby or so.
if disconnect tablet from pc, u have to set to manufacturer mode again !

    important is:

when connecting tablet to pc, on tablet-prompt chose "file-transfer" (thats worked in my case)
    have oem-unlock enabled
    have usb-debugging enabled
connect pad to pc and AFTER that, do the dial/calculator code thing *#*#2846579#*#* and chose "manufacturer mode" !

start dc-unlocker, set to huawei phone. let phone/tablet autorecognize.
go to server, enter your account name and password.
go to unlock and select read bootloadercode !

i did it 10 times with different setting (f.e. foto transfer, different modes, different usb-portson pc )
    never worked, always unknown error.
let it do the update, restartet, one last time dc-unlocker, it worked ! now i can finally root.

big thanks for the dc-guys <3
and biggest hopes for the worst reputation and drop of sale for huawei for victimizing their customers by refusing to give out bootloader-codes.
Thank you for sharing this information with us.
