  • Unlock fail Huawei P9

    Hello,
I wanted to unlock the bootloader on my Huawei P9. Having paid for credits I looked for the Unlock button in the Unlocking menu but only found FRP as per the screenshot. I received the messages shown in the attachment. Are you please able to help me with this?

Your phone is in wrong mode. How to read bootloader unlock code from working phone see here: https://www.dc-unlocker.com/how-to-r...er-unlock-code

      Appreciate your reply.
I am following the instructions as posted, as I attempted to do the first time, and have a question or two...
I have Hisuite installed on Windows 10. When I try the driver pack, the log file reports devsetup64: This drivers version lower and doesn’t install. Looking at the device manager, I get results as per the picture. Is this correct? I don't see a modem reference.

Is it possible to reinstate the credits so that I can try to unlock my phone again?
      Thanks,

It seems that the modem reference isn't needed, I have all options available in the unlocking menu. You were correct about the mode. For some reason I was in boot-load mode on the phone. Probably an ID10T error on my behalf.
