  • Huawei Mediapad M5 CMR-W09 wifi bootloop

    Hello.

I have used your unlocker to unlock my device and I've succesfully installed ressurrection remix and a few other custom roms on my device. I flashed twrp so I could get root as well. However, seeing twrp wasn't working very well and not supporting encryption, not saving its settings, and some of my apps couldn't be installed from the play store, I decided to try LineageOS. All flashing has been done with fastboot, nothing with twrp (since it wasnt working well i didnt trust it).

After LineageOS, the bootloops started. I can get into eRecovery, recovery, fastboot. The system starts, I get the boot logo, I get the ROM boot logo, some sound, then the HUawei logo pulses. After that it just restarts and drops to eRecovery.

With DC Phoenix I have now unpacked UPDATE.APP from update.zip (CMR-W09C432B168) and loaded it into the application, following the guide here on the site. Everything completes succesfully. The tablet doesn't start automatically (I thought it would?) so I do a fastboot reboot. It still bootloops.

I am not sure (nowhere explained?) what customization is for. I looked into the other zips and update_full_CMR-W09_hw_eu.zip contains an UPDATE.APP as well. I tried that for customization and reflashed.

When I boot the device and hold down volume up and down, it starts an update. A system boot still boot loops.

After a factory reset the system still boot loops.

Whatever I try, boot loop ...

    Did I mention boot loops?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

Hello, if flashing full stock rom that was in device originally does not help then no way out for it as we do not have board software for method 2 attempt for it sadly.

      Thanks for the reply.

So there is really nothing I can try?

I noticed that it reports C001 region even though I am flashing C432.

Right now when I try to reflash using DC Phoenix, it says the device is not supported?

If there is absolutely nothing else I can do, can I at least get a refund?

      Thanks!

Without board software there is certainly nothing to do more about it, maybe only try more firmwares. I suppose account wasn't used so i could check for refund in such case just need to know your username.
