Huawei P10 Unlocker error

Following the instructions, unlocker not recognising my Huawei P10:

I noticed as well that my Huawei doesn't get recognised as "modem" even if I set the USB mode to "Manufacture mode". I'm running latest version at the moment: VTR-L09 8.0.0.365(C703)

You won't detect your phone since your manufacturer is set to Huawei modems, and P10 is a phone i believe, try to select different manufacturer matching your device type.

Okay that helped and I got status:


Before detection Huawei Android phones, enable 'Manufacture' mode:
in dial pad type *#*#2846579#*#* for Qualcomm and Kirin based models, or *#*#14789632#*#* for MTK, then select
'ProjectMenu',
'Background settings',
'USB ports settings',
'Manufacture mode'.

But after restart and boot to FASTBOOT&RESCUE MODE it says PHONE LOCKED and when trying to flash it I get error:

Unlock device is required before next step.
Input your unlock code:

However I lost 4 credits for nothing :/
