Can't update E1690 firmware

Hi!
I've download the file "E1690Update_11.825.03.00.56.B427.exe" from dc-files and purchase 4 credits to get the firmware code in order to upgrade my E1690 firmware. The dongle appears to be unbranded.
After the data backup, however, appears this message "The wireless terminal inserted is not Firmware, update wizard can't work on.".
How to sort out this problem?

How you need to upgrade firmware?
I think that you can use this:

http://rapidshare.com/files/277574456/E169x_K3520Update_11.314.21.31.00.B418.rar

But before upgrade be sure to have your original firmware to restore if needed. I don't have tested this E1690, but sure that is E169.

But before upgrade be sure to have your original firmware to restore if needed. I don't have tested this E1690, but sure that is E169.

I moved the update to /E1690. So check again http://dc-files.com/files/huawei/modems/E1690/ There is a new FW update which should work now.
