    huwai e1550 with idea operater not unlocked help

    hello product supporter

    pls help me i want to unlock huwai e1550 with idea network in india but with dc unlocker i cannt able too unlock this modem , i have vygis dongle activation with dc unlocker so pls guide me how ho unlock this modem

    What country is this modem? What provider? Maybe from India? If from India, then we can not unlock it now. This version is not supported.

      this modem comes with idea celluler ( india ) & i know that thing this firemware ver is not suppoted yet by dc unlocker .

      becose at this moment i am talking to dc unlocker (product manager ) for next update ?

        Huawei 1550 IDEA India (version 11.608.14.00.356) unlocking and how it works.
        IDEA modems have pin code stored in modem. If other sim (not original sim) is inserted with disabled pin number,
        or other pin number, then modem modem will enter wrong pin number to sim card and will block it. This is reason why you see no network with unlocked modem.
        Same would happen with not unlocked modem also.
        The solution is that user should always use sim card that has sim pin enabled. Pin code must be 1234. Other pin code not accepted.

          have any body tested it? pla any one that have tested it should let others no maybe it work for them thks

            I have tried unlocking IDEA cellular Huawie model E1550 but was unseccessful.

              What error did you receive? If after unlock modem does not see network, you should detect it by dc-unlocker and in main window under detected modem copy ideapindisable and press enter. Sample below.



              Also update firmware to this version: http://www.dc-unlocker.com/test/E155...02.00.B418.zip

                      Hello. Sorry, but this modem model is not supported because of its customized firmware, so it cannot be unlocked with DC-Unlocker now.

                        Hello. Huawei E1550 with firmware version 11.609.20.03.356 BUILD date: Jun 02 2011 15:39:45 (Idea India) and Huawei E1550 with firmware version 11.609.20.02.356 BUILD date: May 25 2011 20:06:49 (Idea India) are now supported and can be unlocked with latest DC-Unlocker client software: http://www.dc-unlocker.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6280
