Can Dc unlocker unlock this router to use other GSM Network sim in Nigeria? The fack that the is firmware is locked to their network makes it difficult to be used for other network even when unlocked. I will like to pay for the unlock code if possible. When I connect my router to my laptop' the DC Unlocker did not detect the modem.

If you locate that box/place where you can input that code then can generate it on dc-unlocker like so:
Disconnect device from PC that you want to unlock. Open dc-unlocker, select manufacturer and model (but do not do detection), open unlocking tab, select option to generate unlock code by IMEI, enter device IMEI and press “Do job” button, shortly you will get a code that you can use to unlock your device.

Thanks very much for this. I have two of the Spectranet (Nigeria) E5172Bs-925. I have already unlocked one with a paid unlocked code but I have not been able to use it because the firmware as I was later told supports Band 40 (2300MHz) while all other operators operate on different bands. Is there an updated version of their firmware that will make the unlocked device to work on other Network that are using different frequencis like those on band 3 or will it work with other operators after unlocking with dc-unlocker?Originally posted by Valdemaras View PostComment

Sadly we do not have such infromation. Unlocking certainly won't make device work on other frequencies.Comment
