Mate 9 read bootloader code not working

Hi,

I've followed the procedure from DC-UNLOCKER and HCU but I'm not able to read the bootloader code:

This means that current version of android in your device has new sec patch and is not supported yet. Should I check for refund? If so let me know your username.

Thanks for the reply.

I found from other posts that you mentioned the same comments and I was able to find a way to fix that.

HiSuite luckily allows to downgrade to android 7.0 and I went ahead with that. After downgrade, I was able to use your tool to get the code and successfully unlocked my phone. Updated to 8.0 right after, used the code again to unlock and now I'm running openkirin OS, thanks to you guys!!

Hope this info helps others who may hit a similar roadblock..
