Mate 9 MHA-L29 Sim unlock

Hi,
I have repaired IMEI, I hope, by HCU, but am unable to unlock sim - phones is detected by fastboot but HCU doesn't see phone. I tried as per guide and as pr indication of fastboot mode required, neither is workig to dected the phone:
"Searching phone (insert the USB cable in the powered off phone)...
ERROR: Device not found !"

Is there any driver I coudl try or any other method?

Nevermind!

Should someone come across it, you can also do it by Fake COM connection if phone is supported.

Network unlock is done while mobile is in manufacture mode not in fastboot.
