  • P9 won't connect, can't seem to change my drivers at all

    Hi guys,

I've been trying to wrestle a p9 back to life and I can't seem to get dc-unlocker to connect.

I've followed the guide for huawei drivers, however my phone doesn't appear anything like it does in your examples, and no amount of deleting the drivers seems to get anything else to appear, i've also tried directly applying the drivers from the driver pack to each of the 3 driver components for the phone, and none of them will take.

I'm running windows 10, and I've tried on another fresh laptop with nothing but windows 10 and hisuite installed.

If I could get some help that would be super!

All you have to do is to install hisuite and put mobile in correct mode - thats it. Everything explained in guide, do not skip steps....

The guide makes no mention of what mode is correct to put the mobile in, however I have tried all 4 (charge, mtp, ptp and midi) and the phone always appears the same in device manager, as you can see, hisuite can communicate with the phone just fine.

But, just to confirm I'm doing everything OK.

      1. Enable developer mode and USB debugging

      2. install hisuite

      3. plug in phone with mtp mode

      4. click detect in the dc unlocker app

You do it incorrectly. Go back to the guide.
