DUK-L09 (Honor 8 Pro)

Hi,

I had EMUI 9 beta (PIE 9) on DUK-L09 and while downgrading to Oreo bricked my device. Now is always stuck in FASTBOOT mode when connected to pc, with no display and with test points it can also be seen detected as HUAWEI USB COM 1.0 (COM5).
While flashing with DC-Phoenix in FASTBOOT mode get -

Device with unsupported security patch

Can you help on how to get the new security updated software for flashing ?

Security is not updatable, nor we have guidance for it if it is. Can only maybe try loader + oeminfo solution if your phone is connected via testpoints.

Hi Valdemaras - I can try doing that if it really helps me unbricking my device, This 19 Euro spent shall be worth then. If for some reason this device doesn't unbrick, can I then request for the refund? You kindly guide me.

Tried this using someone else borrowed account with test points, it did not allow bootloader to flash as Nougat & Oreo are only available in DC-Phoenix. I dont see Kirin960 bootloader 9, can you help uploading bootloader for EMUI 9 since my device was on EMUI 9.

So kindly guide how to unbrick this device ? Loader + oeminfo didnt help as bootloader of Nougat and Oreo didnt work.

If flashing solution did not help then only replacing main board on device can help it.
